Shredit Reel 2026: Top riders from all over the world are heading to Bikepark Kopřivná!

The Shredit Reel video contest is back for its third edition, taking place on June 13th at Bikepark Kopřivná.

Last year's edition pushed the boundaries once again, proving that riders and fans alike are absolutely thrilled by this format. The home location remains the same, but this year the rider line-up is expanding significantly. Half of the field comes from the Czech Republic, while the other half consists of riders from all over the globe, perfectly aligned with our goal to build strong international brand awareness. This year, it's not just the European elite making their way here; we are also welcoming global stars, including two outstanding riders from the USA!

Truly resounding names are locked in for the start line. Leading the pack are the Ruso Bros, specifically Elias Ruso (fresh winner of the best trick award at Africa's Darkfest) and Dani Ruso. Furthermore, you can look forward to Swedish heavy-hitter Alex Alanko, acclaimed American freerider Chelsea Kimball, or Austrian veteran Bernd Winkler. The Czech scene will be represented by local favorite and last year's winner Martin „Bogi“ Janík, legendary Ondra Šléz, Andy Mitaš, or the experienced Jakub Vencl.

The format that proved successful last year remains virtually unchanged. Riders have two and a half days to shoot their best video in the Reels format, with a maximum length of 90 seconds. Judging is based not only on the riding itself but also on the overall edit style – which is exactly how Bogi won everyone's hearts last year. For freeriders who live and breathe content creation, Shredit Reel is a tailor-made match.

Event organizer Jakub Vencl comments that he came up with this format because it is the exact kind of event he would love to be invited to as a rider. We all love filming these edits, and he personally enjoys pushing the envelope. Creating a dedicated playground for riders made perfect sense. On top of that, Kopřivná is the ultimate venue. Thanks to our partners, we have the highest prize purse yet, which he believes will be an incredible motivator. He is genuinely excited to see how the international riders handle the tracks and is confident that this year's edition will be an absolute banger.

The public highlight of the event, including the screening of all final contest videos, will take place on Saturday evening, June 13th, at the chairlift bottom station in Bikepark Kopřivná. We will all gather at our newly renovated Bistro and the cool new Deštník bar. Expect the finest beer, delicious food, great music, and above all, an unforgettable vibe.
