Shredit Reel 2026: European Freeride Elite Heading to Bikepark Kopřivná!

Published on May 26, 2026

The Shredit Reel video competition returns for its third edition on June 13th at Bikepark Kopřivná. Shredit Reel 2026 Poster Last year's edition pushed the boundaries once again and clearly demonstrated the massive interest in this format among both riders and fans. The host location remains the same, but this year the starting field is expanding significantly. Half of the riders will arrive from the Czech Republic, while the other half consists of riders from all over Europe, perfectly fulfilling our goal of building strong international brand awareness. Shredit Reel action Some truly big names will appear on the starting list. Leading the pack is the Ruso Bros duo, namely Elias Ruso and Dani Ruso, well-known from events like Darkfest. Furthermore, you can look forward to riders like Alex Alanko, Pierre Soriot, or Bernd Winkler. The Czech scene will be represented by the local favorite and last year's winner Martin „Bogi“ Janík, along with Ondra Shléz, Andy Mitaš, or Kuba Hejl. The format, which proved successful last year, remains practically unchanged. Riders have two and a half days to shoot their best video in Reels format with a maximum length of 90 seconds. It is not just the riding itself that is judged, but also the overall impression of the video, and that is exactly how Bogi won the hearts of everyone involved last year. For freeriders, for whom content creation is a daily part of life, Shredit Reel is a format tailor-made for them. Video shooting at Shredit Reel Event organizer Jakub Vencl says he came up with this format because he would want to be invited to such an event himself. According to him, everyone loves shooting these kinds of videos, and he personally enjoys pushing his limits in it. Therefore, it made perfect sense to create an event that offers riders the space for exactly this. He adds that Kopřivná is the ideal place for it. This year, thanks to partners, the event also offers the highest prize money yet, so he believes it will be another huge motivation. He is genuinely curious to see how the international riders tackle the tracks and believes this year's edition will be an even bigger blast than the last one. Jakub Vencl at Bikepark Kopřivná The public part of the event, including the screening of all competition videos, will take place on Saturday evening, June 13th, right by the lower chairlift station at Bikepark Kopřivná.
