The Blueberry Feast in Malá Morávka and Karlov pod Pradědem has, over its more than quarter-century existence, become synonymous with late-summer fun—a legendary event that draws thousands of food lovers and nature enthusiasts to our valley every year.

The August harvest of blueberries has deep roots in the rugged environment of the Jeseníky Mountains. The mountain slopes surrounding Praděd have always been among the richest grounds for juicy wild berries, providing local residents with a delicious seasonal treat and a traditional source of livelihood.

The idea of turning this seasonal harvest into a community celebration was born at the turn of the millennium. What started as a local gathering gradually transformed into the most famous culinary festival in the region, uniting the entire valley.

For those seeking refreshment after a mountain hike or a trail ride, our iconic Umbrella Bar (Bar Deštník) will be serving fresh blueberry lemonade and signature summer cocktails. You can easily pair this culinary treat with outdoor fun: our chairlift, famous bikepark, and children's funpark will remain open all weekend long.
