Snow Sculptures at Kopřivná 2026
Kopřivná Resort has come alive again with its traditional exhibition of larger-than-life snow animal sculptures, one of the most popular winter attractions in our area. Across the Jeseníky Mountains, it is also the only attraction of its kind, drawing skiers, walkers and families every year.
Over just a few days, our sculptors created four impressive sculptures from around 50 tons of snow. This year you can see a koala, a seal, an orangutan and a Silvisaurus, completing our “snow zoo” as the fourth sculpture. The sculptures are placed in several locations around the resort and stand out not only during the day, but also after dark when they are beautifully illuminated.
Two sculptures can be found near the bar by the chairlift boarding area, while the other two are located on the slope. One is visible already on the way up the lift, and another stands close to the Panorama Bar – a unique mountain structure made of 3D-printed concrete, the first of its kind in the Czech Republic.
You can view the finished sculptures daily from 8:30 to 16:00, and again during night skiing from 18:00 to 21:00, when the lighting creates a truly special atmosphere. Depending on conditions, the sculptures should remain on display for several weeks.
Snow sculptures have been a winter tradition at Kopřivná since 2021 and are a favourite stop for many visitors. Combine your visit with skiing, a walk around the resort, a stop at the Panorama Bar, or a great meal.
Come and enjoy winter at Kopřivná — and take a walk among our giant, illuminated snow animals. We look forward to seeing you.
